Hey friends! I wanted to share with you some pictures from my recent trip to Maryland. It was also my first time visiting. The scenery was breathtaking. A tid bit cold for this Florida girl, but I bundled up pretty well!😊
The main reason I flew to Maryland was because my friend or should I say (lol sis) put on an event for the company I represent. It was only for a couple days, so I was able to squeeze in a little fun time! The picture above is Belinda’s horse. Isn’t he adorable!
When you’ve lived in Florida the majority of your life, you’re not use to hills and tree’s that change during the season’s. Instead, we get flat lands and palm trees. Hey, I’m not complaining! I’m definitely a Florida girl at heart! I absolutely loved taking in all of the roads, the country living and cooler weather. I kinda wish I came here sooner to see all the vibrant fall leaves. Killer pictures for sure!
Meet Belinda! She took me downtown Annapolis to explore the shops and dinning. They just put up the Christmas tree too! Made for a cute pic!😊 Annapolis is definitely an area of the younger generation due to the United States Naval Academy. It’s awesome to walk around the streets and see so many in uniform.
So…. what did I learn on this trip? As I had my own moments to really just sit back and think, I discovered that no matter what I do or where I go, God never fails to impress me with his majestic creation.
I also thought about the woman I’m becoming. You know, growing into your own skin. It still amazes me who I once was and how God has given me confidence within myself which I never thought was possible. This once shy, non confident girl who would never do anything by herself, is now changed! I actually flew here alone. That might be a piece of cake for you, but just taking that step was HUGE for me. I’m finding myself each day tackling something that I can check off my list, which in turn is developing me into a stronger woman.
You know, it’s crazy to me that there have been so many times in my life that I use to think, “I can’t do this” or “I’m not good enough”.
Then I do it and I smash it out of the park! Growing into my own skin has been quite the experience. When you push through those moments of doubt, that’s when you see your breakthrough!
Have a blessed Tuesday friends, and thank you so much for following me!
